Maa, You gave me the life
Turned a baby into a Man.
Maa, You are the endless roof
spread all over my domain
And Maa, all You had to offer
is a heart to give selfless love,
& a promise to take all my pain.

I might have always been
Very nonchalant with you
A little too laid-back
And least bothered too.
when I didn't take you for granted,
those moments are few :( 

When you deserved all my respect 
followed by a warm hug
I left you cold

and walked away with a shrug.

Now I know,
There is no other Love
like a mother's Love for her child...
A Love so generous, caressing and mild

My Maa, the happiest person in the world
everytime I smiled :)
